From the moment I tried out the Titleist 915D2 Driver, I could feel the power of the Active Recoil Channel (ARC) technology, which has maintained its effectiveness over time. The transfer of energy from clubhead to ball remains strong, leading to drives that are consistently dynamic and satisfying. The Radial Speed Face still impresses, delivering reliable ball speed even when contact isn't perfectly centered—a comforting feature for those slightly off-center hits.
Even with a naturally reduced Moment of Inertia (MOI), the driver compensates through significant forgiveness, largely due to its ability to lower spin. This has consistently helped me keep my shots straighter and more on target. With its generously designed 460cc head, the 915D2 continues to facilitate high launches, leading to carry distances that excel, particularly on those demanding longer holes.
A noteworthy feature is the strategically positioned Center of Gravity (CG), which allows for a gentle draw bias that subtly aids shots in curving left—an advantageous trait. For those interested in another variation, the D3 version, with its more compact 440cc head, offers a different experience with lower spin and a more controlled trajectory that suits players who seek precision and tighter shot shapes.
Embracing these features into my game has been an enriching journey, marrying technology with performance in a way that complements, rather than overpowers, my natural play style. For players contemplating a switch to enhance both power and accuracy, this driver stands as a valuable tool across
