The TaylorMade r7 DRAW Fairway Wood continues to embody a harmonious balance between forgiveness and performance, a quality that is immediately noticeable during a round. Its generous sweet spot instills confidence, allowing golfers to swing decisively, knowing the club accommodates minor imperfections. The club's moment of inertia offers significant resistance against twisting, helping to maintain those all-important straight shots.
A remarkable attribute of this classic club is its capacity to enhance club speed through its wider clubface—a reliable feature whether teeing off or navigating the fairway. Golfers who often contend with a slice may discover assistance here, as the club's design promotes a straighter ball flight, providing reliable support across different skill levels. It’s an enduring companion, offering forgiveness on heel and toe mishits, a consistently appreciated feature.
For those looking to keep the ball lower in tight course spots, the club may encourage a higher flight path. Despite this, the r7 DRAW Fairway Wood remains a resilient and adaptable tool, proving its value as a dependable option for golfers aiming to refine their game and achieve straighter shots.

The TaylorMade R7 Draw fairway woods feature steel club heads that incorporate Draw-Weighted Technology, wherein a channel in the sole, near the toe, pushes weight toward the heel in order to pull the CG back and closer to the shaft. Moving the CG closer to the shaft makes it easier to rotate the face properly during the forward swing, helping the player to square the clubface at impact to either hit a draw or straighten a slice. The TaylorMade R7 Draw fairway woods are also engineered with a shallow clubface, which allows for an exceptionally low CG that promotes a higher launch-angle and spin-rate for high-flying shots that stay in the air for a long time, equaling long distance and soft landings.
