The SIM Max golf clubs from TaylorMade first showed up on the market back in 2020, marking TaylorMade’s departure from the M line of golf clubs. SIM, which is an acronym for Shape In Motion, is all about aerodynamics and maximizing clubhead speed. The reimagined shapes of the SIM Max Driver will help players generate faster clubhead speed at impact for longer drives. They’ll also get to benefit from the Inertia Generator, the channel that runs along the sole of the club, as it will provides forgiveness for golfers, as well as helps them get the ball in the air with more ease. The SIM Max Fairway Woods are just as forgiving as their driver counterpart, as they also feature the Twist Face technology to keep mishits as straight as possible. TaylorMade brought back a redesigned V-Steel sole to help the club glide across the ground and make contact with the ball without digging into the ground. The Multi-Material combination that makes up the SIM Max fairway woods reduces the Center of Gravity (CG) level for a higher launch at impact. Much like the rest of the clubs in this line, the SIM Max Irons are looking to push the limits of clubhead speed while maintaining as much forgiveness as possible. Their super thin clubface, supported by the Speed Bridge on the back of the clubhead, make for a hotter clubface with a bigger sweet spot than ever before.
